Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy explains which information AutoFeed (https://autofeed.be), operated by AG IT-Solutions ("AGITS"), stores in or reads from your browser, and why you do not see a cookie banner.

1. The short version

  • We use no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.
  • We use only a few strictly necessary items in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings.
  • The website and app interface use self-hosted fonts. The public marketing website makes no requests to Google Fonts.
  • Inside the signed-in app, template previews and the template editor load the brand fonts you selected from Google Fonts. Google sets no cookies for this (see section 4).
  • Because everything we store is strictly necessary for a service you explicitly requested, no consent is required and we therefore show no consent banner.

2. What is local storage?

Local storage is a small storage space in your browser, similar to a cookie, but it is not sent automatically to a server with every request. The legal rules for cookies (art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, implemented in Belgium by art. 10/2 of the Act of 30 July 2018 and formerly art. 129 of the Electronic Communications Act) apply equally to local storage: storing or reading information on your device requires consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested.

3. What we store

KeyPurposeContentsDuration
socials.authKeeps you signed inSign-in tokens issued by our authentication service (Amazon Cognito)Until you sign out or the tokens expire
socials.spaceRemembers which workspace you last openedWorkspace identifierUntil you sign out, switch workspace or clear your browser storage
socials.langRemembers your language preference (English/Dutch)Language codeUntil you change it or clear your browser storage
socials.calendar.modeRemembers your preferred calendar view (e.g. month or week)View nameUntil you change it or clear your browser storage

All items are first-party: they are set and read only by autofeed.be. They contain no advertising identifiers and are not used to track you across websites.

Why these are strictly necessary:

  • Without socials.auth, you would have to sign in on every page load; the app could not work securely.
  • socials.space, socials.lang and socials.calendar.mode store choices you explicitly made in the interface (user-input/preference storage), so that the service you requested behaves as you set it up.

4. Third-party requests: Google Fonts in templates

  • Public website and app interface: all fonts are self-hosted on our own infrastructure. Your browser makes no requests to Google Fonts or other font services for these.
  • Template previews and the template editor (signed-in app only): to show your brand typography accurately, your browser loads the brand fonts selected for your workspace from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, operated by Google LLC). As with any web request, Google receives your IP address and browser user agent. Google sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser for this. Google may process this data in the United States; see our Privacy Policy and Sub-processors.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device for this purpose, it does not require cookie consent. The processing of your IP address by Google is explained in our Privacy Policy (legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest).

5. Other third parties

  • Stripe: when you open the payment page, you are redirected to Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe may set strictly necessary cookies there for payment and fraud prevention under its own cookie policy. These are not set on autofeed.be.
  • Meta: when you connect Instagram or Facebook, you sign in on Meta's own website, which applies Meta's cookie policy.

6. How to remove stored data

  • Sign out in the app: this removes socials.auth and the selected workspace.
  • Clear site data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy → Site data or via the padlock icon in the address bar) to remove all items.

Blocking local storage for autofeed.be will prevent you from signing in.

7. Changes

If we ever want to use non-essential cookies or analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first through a consent mechanism. Questions: privacy@agits.be.

8. Language

This policy is available in English and Dutch. Both language versions are equally authoritative.
